Mint From the Garden

Here’s a wonderful way to incorporate herbs from the garden into daily cooking. Add the juice of 1 lemon to 4 cups water. Mix in 1/2 cup sugar and set aside. Place 3Tbsp. fresh mint leaves in a glass and 1/3 cup of fresh blueberries. Bruise the leaves with a wooden spoon or a muddler (if you have one it looks like a pestle). Add the mint leaves and berries to the lemonade and stir. Add more sugar to taste if needed.

Serve with lemon slices and a few whole blueberries. *If you want a sparkling version, add club soda in place of the flat water.
